2. Material Procurement

  • Sourcing of certified plates, pipes, flanges, and fittings from reputed mills.

3. Fabrication

  • Plate cutting, beveling, and rolling to achieve precise shell geometry.
  • Dished end forming (or procurement from approved vendors).
  • Shell assembly with precise alignment.
  • Nozzle cutting, fitting, and welding.

4. Welding

  • Certified welders for all position welding.
  • Qualified Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) for all material joints.
  • Processes: SAW, GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Arc), GMAW (MIG).

5. Testing & Inspection

  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Radiography (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Dye Penetrant (DPT), Magnetic Particle (MPT) as per code requirements.
  • Hydrostatic Testing: Pressure testing to 1.3 to 1.5 times the design pressure.
